Don’t forget about the physical security of your business
If you own a storefront, warehouse, or even conduct your business at home, you need security. Lone worker alarms could be a great option, but it also helps check around for any vulnerable spots where thieves may try to break in. It’s crucial to protect the inside and the outside of your business, so you’ll want to have alarms, good lighting, plenty of locks, and multiple security cameras as well.

When it comes to the physical security of your business, you can not and should not take any risks whatsoever. Thieves tend to scout out small businesses intentionally because small businesses are often under-secured. The best way to combat having to deal with this is to make sure that you stay fully prepared and have multiple security systems.

Even if your business is at home, it shouldn’t change the fact that you could be a target, in fact, this could potentially make you a larger target. Look into getting insurance for your home and see if it covered your business too. You can still have security cameras and an alarm system in your home as well. Whatever security that you can get for a commercial building, there’s a chance it can be available for homes as well.
