Natural lighting is a great place to start, but you should also consider the colour scheme and choose hues that boost productivity to encourage a more efficient workplace. No one wants to work in a dingy office with overly-bright fluorescent lighting and bare and boring walls. However, you also need to be careful about how much motivational colour you add. There is such a thing as too much colour, so use it sparingly to prevent employees (and clients) from feeling overwhelmed.

Keep The Clutter Down 
A messy office is a sign of disorder and a lack of focus. Every employee is responsible for keeping their desk clean and tidying up after themselves at the end of the day while cleaning contractors can handle the everyday mess on the carpets. You can also focus on reducing paper clutter by digitalising everything so you reduce the need for expansive storage space, which also means you may have additional space for breaks or meeting areas.  

Add Character 
From office wall art to various plants, adding character to the office can make it feel more genuine. This approach will boost your employees’ satisfaction and make it feel a little more like a home away from home. As many businesses have veered toward hybrid schedules, you may as well give employees a decent reason to come to the office when required, and office character can make that possible.
