"Not enough nice words to describe Chris!

"I used to work with Chris up until about a year and a half ago. I met him as my module assessor when I first started at the company, then a few years later he was mentoring me so I could be a module assessor. Throughout my whole career at that company I would speak to Chris most weeks and he would always have something positive to say and would always help everyone if he could. He would be one of the first people I called for advice.

"He helped with my confidence in going for new roles and projects while I was there. When I was feeling put out, frustrated and lacking in energy, I would speak to Chris and he would always be able to help me see positively and that whatever it was I was considering doing was worth going for.

"I have spoken to Chris, even after we both left the company, about any new jobs or roles I have gone for before each of them and he still makes me feel that I should do what makes me happy – all the time, no matter what and to not worry about leaving a job or changing your life if it is something you’d like to do.
He made my decisions a lot easier to make, and he is right – I’ve never regretted any career changes I have made, and there have been a few since!

"The bottom line: Chris is great at giving you confidence in yourself and he knows you have the ability to make your own happiness, sometimes you just need someone like him to tell you.
I won’t be going back to retail management I think that is something Chris and I both share!"
